Where do I find my Steam Trade URL?

In Steam: Inventory → Trade Offers → Who can send me Trade Offers? At the bottom of the page you'll see your Trade URL — copy it and paste it into the field above.

Why is Skinsauna's offer different from the Steam market price?

Steam's market price doesn't include the ~15% transaction fee or the fact that you can't cash out Steam Wallet money. Skinsauna's offer is what actually lands in your bank account, with no fees on top.

Can I check an inventory if it's private?

No. Steam's public API only returns inventory data for public profiles. You can change the privacy setting from Steam → Profile → Edit profile → Privacy → Inventory to "Public" temporarily.

Are the prices real or estimates?

The Steam market price and third-party prices are real listing/sale prices. Skinsauna's cash offer is the actual amount we'd pay you right now.

Does the tool support CS:GO, Dota 2 and Rust skins?

CS2 (formerly CS:GO) is fully supported. Other games are on the roadmap — leave the URL anyway and we'll let you know when support is added.

What if Skinsauna doesn't offer anything for my skin?

Some very low-value or unsupported items may not get an offer. The Steam market price and third-party prices are still shown, so you can decide where to sell.

INVENTORY VALUE

What are your CS2 skins really worth?

The price Steam Community Market shows is rarely what you actually get for your skins. The marketplace charges a 15% transaction fee, and Steam Wallet balance can't be cashed out to your bank account. Skinsauna's inventory check shows you three values at once: the Steam market price, the third-party resale price, and what you actually receive in real money on your account.

The tool fetches your inventory in real time from Steam's public API. You don't need a Skinsauna account, you don't make any trades, and you don't share any credentials. Check first, decide later.

HOW PRICING WORKS AND WHY WE EXIST

CS2 inventory value check, everything you need to know

CS2 skins (formerly CS:GO skins) have been one of gaming's biggest microeconomies for over a decade. Individual item values range from a few cents to thousands of euros, and entire inventories can be worth hundreds or even thousands. Yet many players don't know exactly how much their collection is worth — and even fewer know how much they would get in actual cash on their account.

Steam market price vs. cash value, why they aren't the same

Steam Community Market shows you the price a skin is currently selling for on Steam. That number doesn't tell the whole story. Steam takes about a 15% transaction fee, and the money you receive goes into your Steam Wallet — from where it cannot be withdrawn to a bank account. The only way to convert skins into real money is to trade through a third-party service like Skinsauna.

What determines a CS2 skin's price?

The price of a skin depends on several factors:

Rarity (Consumer → Covert → ★ Knife/Gloves)
Wear value (Factory New → Battle-Scarred)
Demand (popular skins like AK-47 Redline or AWP Asiimov hold their value)
StatTrak version is usually 10–30% more expensive
Stickers and their rarity (e.g. Holo/Foil/Gold capsules)
Float value (a low float can raise the price significantly)
Market trends and season (e.g. Major events drive prices up)

How does Skinsauna calculate your inventory's value?

Our checker combines real-time data from Steam Community Market, third-party marketplaces (Skinport, BUFF163, CSFloat) and our own pricing model. We show you three numbers: the Steam market list price, the average third-party resale price, and what you would get in instant cash on your bank account through Skinsauna. We pay on average 90% of a skin's cash value, which is a more competitive offer than most other instant-sale services.

Is the inventory check safe?

Yes. The checker uses only Steam's public profile data and your Trade URL — we never ask for your password, Steam Guard code or API key. You don't make any trades during the check, and you don't hand over any items to us. You can check your inventory's value every day if you want, with zero risk.
